Graham exhibites regionally and nationally supplying a handful of high quality galleries with his pieces. He makes both hand-built and thrown pots.
Strongly influenced by the modernist movement, Graham’s primary interest is in creating minimalist forms. He is particularly known for his mastery of a bold red glaze that complements these unadorned shapes. Currently, he is exploring variations of double walled vessels.
His determination to produce aesthetically satisfying pots drives Graham’s ambition to master the ceramic process. He looks forward to a lifetime of working with and learning from clay – while candidly conceding that he is striving to reach a vanishing horizon.
He once shared a studio with Len Castle, and now works from his new home in Whangaroa Auckland.
We are delighted to have his work at Kaan Zamaan.
