Beverley Cox

Beverley was born in a hotel on the banks of the Whanganui River. Growing up, she was surrounded by the rich indigenous bush. After primary education at the Quaker school “Friends”, Beverley’s further education was at Whanganui Girls College before she moved to Christchurch to study Graphic Design at Canterbury.

With a working background in Silk Screening, Textile Design and Ceramics, Beverley has developed her own creative approach which is presently a love affair with Painting.

Beverley has lived and worked in the Hokianga for over twenty years and draws much of her inspiration from the beautiful native and introduced flora around her.
